Corylus has successfully co-ordinated and delivered several planning applications for solar farms, over many years. Our application for the Ducklington scheme in West Oxfordshire saw councillors voting unanimously in favour of the 36Mw proposal.

The design retains existing hedgerows and includes new tree and shrub planting, and other biodiversity enhancements. It also allows grazing to continue on the site whilst it generates clean electricity.

Corylus prepared and co-ordinated all the assessments, reports and plans for the planning application, and our specialist input included hydrological field testing, Flood Risk Assessment and preparation of a Surface Water Management Plan; and preparation of a landscape and ecological management plan.

We also engaged with the Parish Council throughout the project, and we are very pleased that the scheme has the support of the local community
