Corylus was instructed to help with rural diversification in Ingham, Suffolk, achieving success in obtaining permission for rural business park units, including both conversions and sensitively designed new build.

Following that success, our client was approached by an award-winning local brewery wishing to expand and seeking suitable premises. The nature of the business meant they had specific challenges in relation to dealing with steam and ventilation.

Corylus solved the requirements by designing a conversion of a redundant building within the development. Taking account of the setting of a nearby listed building, we obtained permission for a sensitive and functional conversion. Our combined design and planning expertise achieved a new use for an old building and success for the local economy.
