A developer with whom we had worked previously acquired a small plot in a Cotswold town, in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The developer approached us, knowing our ability to deal with challenging sites and achieve results, bringing us on board to realise a sensitive development of two to three dwellings.

The site presented several challenges, one of the main ones being that it was virtually surrounded on two sides by trees subject to Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs).

Corylus worked with the appointed Architects to determine the layout and provided landscape design and planning expertise in order to address the challenges. We achieved planning permission for two dwellings which blend well with the surroundings and are enjoyed as family homes with strong environmental credentials.
