Stillwater

Set on the edge of a tranquil private lake, the site offers a picturesque and secluded retreat immersed in nature. The brief called for a critical reassessment of the existing design in order to establish a new spatial strategy that could accommodate both a primary residence and an auxiliary building.

A terrace-level pool offers uninterrupted views across the lake, while the lower timber deck provides an expansive outdoor platform for entertaining family and guests—framing the landscape and extending the living experience.

Corylus was involved in the architectural and landscape design, with a focus on creating a connection between indoors and outdoors. The result is a nature-infused retreat, thoughtfully crafted to provide moments of calm, comfort, and immersion in the surrounding environment.
