Corylus has successfully supported Innova Renewable Developments Limited in securing planning consent on appeal for a 49.9MW solar farm on Land east of Aylesbury Road, Ledburn, Buckinghamshire.
The decision raises some interesting points concerning:
·      The approach to assessing the effects of the proposed development on the scenic and natural beauty of the Chilterns National Landscape.
·      Weighing harm to heritage assets individually, rather than cumulatively.
Our contribution:
· The appeal process involved a 2-week public inquiry, to which our Associate Director of Planning, Chris Cox, provided planning evidence.
· Corylus also managed the appeal process, co-ordinating the appeal process and liaising with the Council and Planning Inspectorate.
