Corylus was approached to undertake a detailed landscape and visual impact assessment for the development which would occupy a relatively sensitive hilltop site within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We were commissioned to create an outline and reserved matters planning application to develop 26 residential units on a parcel redundant land which was originally part of the former RAF base at Upper Rissington.

To further help the development, the team provided a landscape mitigation strategy for the outline planning application, a detailed hard and soft landscaping scheme, and a Tree Protection Plan (TPO) for the reserve matters application.
