PROPOSED QUARRY AND AFTER USAGE
Stonehenge Farm is a development of a 40-hectare sand and gravel quarry in the Lower Windrush Valley in Oxfordshire. The site will eventually be restored to a reed bed and nature reserve.
The site gives rise to several environmental constraints including hydrology, flood risk, nature conservation, archaeology and landscape character. Development was granted consent in October 2010 following a Planning Inquiry where Corylus acted as expert witness in respect of Landscape and Visual issues.
