MASTERPLAN FOR 200 HOUSES IN NORTH BRISTOL
South Gloucestershire Council identified a need for more housing in this area, and proposed a site for mixed-use development known as ‘East of Harry Stoke New Neighbourhood’. The new neighbourhood would provide homes, schools and infrastructures to re-balance the area and provide a ‘sense of place’ to an otherwise commercially dominated environment.
A consultation event on the concept masterplan invited members of the public to give their views on the development.
An outline planning application and environmental impact assessment are currently in preparation based on the masterplan, which was developed following the public consultation. This masterplan provides linkages into an adjacent site and provides a separate access on the highway network for the site.
